What do I do with the film? Local Lab Process and CD: I do not recommend sending your film in the mail for processing. I suggest you have a local photo lab process the film, print photos and burn a CD. I ask that you send me a copy of the CD containing all the digital images. Also, if you do not ask for digital images at this time, scans from cut negatives at a later time will be extremely expensive. I suggest you call the lab and tell them what you want to do. Send them a test roll of film and see how you like their service. I would always mention that the film you are giving them is your wedding film. I shoot 35mm, 36 exposure, color processed film. I am not sponsored or endorsed by any film/processing lab or company. A lab I often use is: ProEx Photo of Rochester, MN 12 Elton Hills Dr NW # 103 Rochester, MN 55901 (507) 282-9275 Combination of Local Lab and Internet Posting: Assuming you have a CD from the lab, you may send a copy of this CD to an Internet photography site such as Shutterfly or Snapfish and they will post the images for you at no charge. Last, I suggest you purchase a pack of twenty archival negative sleeves. Professional name brands are "Vue-All" or "PrintFile". These will safely store your negatives. Keep in a dark, dry environment. Please keep in mind that these are only suggestions. You may contact Nate directly via email at nate@natehoward.com or fill out the form below. |
